The Return of the Veggie Drinks

One of the 50 things on my List of things to do for 2009 was to get back to daily, homemade veggie drinks that were once a staple of my day-to-day diet. So this morning, we (and when I say we, I mean my wife) decided that today was a good day to start. I am still on an all you can eat diet in order to gain back all the weight that I have lost over the last several months. So this morning after I had a slice of raspberry danish, Eggo waffles, sausage and bacon, I washed it all down with a cucumber and celery veggie drink plus a carrot, orange and banana drink for good measure.

Can't you taste the healthiness?

Okay I'm dying to know about these veggie drinks? Why do it? The health factor, the calories?

Well I've convinced B that veggies and nutrients are good for his whole body including his liver. Before things skyrocketed we did the drinks and really watched his nutrition and his numbers were looking really good. So I figure it can't hurt! We need this liver to last a lifetime!!! :-)
