65. That is how many surgical staples were removed from my abdominal wounds today. It didn't hurt as much as you may think. There were several stitches that were still in that had to be removed that were actually more painful. Either way, it feels good to have it all out. Having all that metal sticking out of my stomach limited my mobility quite a bit. A few more days of letting my wounds heal up and I will be able to bump up my physical therapy a little bit.
Also got blood drawn and again are going with the notion that no news is good news since they did not call us.
