One More Night

My numbers have continued their downward trend and the doctors feel good about where I am at. So as long as there are no unforeseen bumps in the road overnight, I should be discharged first thing tomorrow morning. I have lost track of what day it is since everyday seems to be the same in here. Counting the first night that we got the call, tonight will make 12 nights all together in the hospital.

As I lay down to attempt to go to sleep tonight, will do so knowing that tomorrow night I will be in my own bed. The doctors and nurses have all been really good to us. There were of course some stressful moments along the way, but all in all, we had a really good experience here.

I am looking forward to getting home and getting better. I will be much better equipped at home for the right mix of my Physical Therapy and rest. You would think that after spending the last week and a half in a hospital I would be plenty rested. Between doctors and nurses coming in every hour and the constant beeping and buzzing of the monitors, rest has been at a premium.

Anyway, many more posts will be coming once I get back to the comfort of my home. I still have a lot going on in my head that I need to get out. Plus in turns out that typing is really good Occupational Therapy for my hand.

So for the last time from the hospital, Good Night!
