Please continue the prayers. They are working and helping to keep him stable.
The nurse just came out to update us. She let us know that they almost have the old liver out. So far bleeding has been minimal which is great since that is a huge concern for them, especially since he has had multiple surgeries. She did warn us that the next step is getting the old one out and the new one in. She said it often gets very tense during this time, but so far, so good.
We prayed as soon as we got the update. And my continuous streaming prayer is non-stop as well. This time it sounds like this...."Dear Lord, thank you so much for watching over B. Thank you for keeping him safe, and helping the entire team as they work to restore him back to health. Thank you for the donor family, and please hold them and help to ease their grieving. Please give them peace in knowing they are passing along such a precious, amazing gift through their tragedy. We know the next part of the surgery is very difficult. Please ease the hands of the doctors as they work to save my husband. Please watch over him and them as you continue to do your work through them. Please continue to keep B stable as we proceed through the next hours. In your Precious Name we pray..."

I'm following along at home. I didn't know how affected I was with all this until I got your text and cried. I would love to be there with you but I'm not good driving in Tampa. I'm praying here along with you. I love you guys. I'm so happy for you both and I hope his recovery isn't as bad as he rememebers the last one as being. Irene
