But, funny story I had to share. So B and I were walking down the hall with the physical therapist. And someone goes "Is your name Melissa?". I looked over and instantly knew that I knew this girl, but couldn't place her for the life of me. She was a nurse working here and it was totally out of context! So I chatted for a few minutes, asked her how she was doing (hoping I would get a clue as to where I knew her from), but nothing.
Before she got off her shift she stopped by the room to say hello to us. B knew it was killing me, so when she asked him "do you remember me?", he said "not really..." (thank you B!).
As soon as she said it, I knew immediately! She was a college friend from back in Ohio. She was dating one of my close guy friends all through college and we spent lots of fun times together! I started laughing when she left realizing that she is in pictures around my house.
Too funny! I guess I was having such a hard time placing since I knew her in a place so far from Florida. Who would have thought?
Anyway, just a fun tidbit I thought I would share!
(and Karen, I'm sure it's killing you too. Bob's college girlfriend Katie is a nurse over here. Too funny!)
