Once they close him up, they are going to attempt to do the "take down" procedure for the colon to complete the 2nd part of that surgery (J-pouch completion). She didn't give much information on it other than they are going to try it, and it will still be a while with surgery.
Yeah God, Yeah God, Yeah God! It appears that the most challenging part of today has been completed. Of course we are still not out of the woods. They are still in surgery and there are still risks, but I cannot help crying tears of joy and thanking God for being so good to us. Once surgery is over we have a long, difficult recovery, but I do know I have the most amazing, strong husband in the world and a God that is so Great!
God is so very good....
