The pain from just having surgery, or the side effects of the pain medication given because of the surgery. At this point, the side effect from the medication seems to be worse.
It has been a rough few days, mostly because of some nasty headaches and nausea caused by the pain meds. This morning, M decided she had enough and stopped taking the pain meds all togheter. As you could imagine, the pain level is still pretty high, but the side effects seemed to have dissipated.
Hopefully she will continue to improve and these side effects are behind us.
