I love my iPod.
Stay with me. I am going somewhere with this.
I have one of the high capacity iPods. The 160GB iPod. I have over one hundred movies on it, and over 5,000 songs. When it comes to the music, I have a set list for everything. There is a set list for driving by myself, driving with my wife, and driving with friends. I have set lists for working out, doing Yoga, and cleaning the house. I have a set list for hanging out by the pool, going out on the boat, and sitting at the beach (Actually, that is pretty much the same setlist, just with three different names).
I have now added a new setlist. The Hospital Waiting Room setlist.
I have become a pro at packing for extended stays at the hospital. I will have an overnight bag that will stay in the car. I will bring in my laptop so I can update the blog during the day. But my iPod will be on me at all times.
There will be a several people waiting with me at the hospital during the surgery, which I am endlessly grateful for. But every once in awhile, I will need to put in one ear bud, listen to a few verses, and relax.
Here is a sampling of what is on the set list
