Bahamas Day 1

Welcome Home

Two separate times we were greeted today with “Welcome Home”.  The first was by the Bahamian Customs agent as she checked out travel history when she wiped our passports.  The second time happened when we checked into the resort and the woman at the front desk checked us into our room.

To be honest with you, this feels as much like a second home then anywhere else.  We have visited here more then anywhere else.  We now have the routine down.  Land at the airport, zip through customs, grab a cab, stop by the grocery store on the way in and get settled in the room.  We added a nap to that today, seeing as how I was up to almost 2:00 AM packing and getting things ready, and up at 5:00 to get to the airport for our flight.

We’ll take it easy tonight and just grab a bit to eat and relax.

It feels good to be home.
