Oh, and for those of you that are wondering (from M)

1) Yes, this is the 2nd surgery I have scheduled around my vacation plans.  Last time it was the friends and family cruise.  This time the Bahamas is calling.  Masses can't ruin all my fun.  If you're keeping score:

2) Yes, for those friends and family members earning "surgery support frequent flier miles" right along with me, I am still the same pain in the butt patient I've always been.  I'm stubborn, I like being entertained, I hate being uncomfortable, and I would still throw a fit and leave the floor if one of those nasty food trays was in my room (okay, maybe not that extreme in my old age).  I still will slip out of my hospital gown into something more comfortable as soon as humanly possible.  I will still bring my comfy, fuzzy socks to wear around to keep my feet toasty.  I still hate being in a hospital room alone-- so B, pack your bags!
