Good Weekend

We are back home and ready for a restful evening before a very busy week.  I was able to hit the beach Saturday morning again for some surfing and then came back home later in the day. Most of today was spent getting the nursery ready, which is finally done (Pictures later this week.)

It was really nice to getaway this weekend for several reasons.  Melissa was supposed to be in Key West this weekend with some friends, but with yesterday being the due date that we were going with, she didn't want to be so far away.  So it was nice for her to still get away and relax.  While we were out at the beach, M's sister drove over to meet up with us for a little bit which was very nice.  And of course, there was the surf.

Both days were above average waves for this time of year.  A got in a few good rides in each day.  I find few things in life more enjoyable then sitting on a long board, looking out for that perfect wave, and seeing a pod of dolphins swimming just 20 yards away.  Just a few short moments after that, I was standing on my board with the power of the ocean peacefully gliding me toward the shore.  It does not get much better then that.
