You have got to be kidding me

As if feeling miserable and having to wait and wait for a liver transplant is not bad enough, more just got dumped on me. In the grand scheme of things, it is not that bad, but bad enough.

About 2:00 AM, I got up because I was hungry. There was a limited amount of food available, so I grabbed a granola bar from the pantry. As I was eating I felt an unusually hard crunch. I went to the bathroom to look in the mirror and I saw that one of my teeth had been chipped while eating. Seriously.

So I went to the dentist today, and they tell me that I have to have a root canal on the tooth. Seriously. So now, in addition to waiting for a transplant, I have to wait to get a root canal too. The root canal is scheduled for Tuesday afternoon. That is if I do not get the call from the transplant center before then.

The fun never stops.

Aye Carumba. First its the bird attacking you for the granola (which was pretty darn crazy by the way) and now the granola's attacking you...maybe you should stay away from those granola bars entirely. They seem to be bad luck!

Also, it's certainly not the real thing, but maybe you can invest in a Wii so you can feel a little tiny bit as if you are playing sports and get some movement in. I don't know too much about it, but people seem to love it. Maybe they even have hiking and stuff. I bet they have surfing...but from what I have seen Melissa might kick your butt in that! And sounds like you could use a good win about now.

Sending some reminders up above that there's this awesome dude I know in Tampa who, um, really could use a totally awesome liver very, very soon! ;-)

I don't think I know who Michele is but she is hilarious! I am really enjoying reading her comments. I think the Wii sounds like a great idea. Also, I agree that granola bars may be a bad choice for you these days unless you are indoors and can make them into a smoothie. =0)
