Not so bad

I went in for my root canal today and it was not any where near as bad as I thought it would be. I have been dreading it ever since I found out that I needed it, and frankly, I have had cleaning at the dentist that were more painful.

Yesterday we went to the transplant center for a check up. They pulled up the latest numbers and told me that I was number 1 on the list. They also told us that they were going to be very picky about the liver they choose for me. Nothing new there. They did set up another appointment in two weeks, but they seemed pretty confident that I would have my surgery before then. In the mean time, we wait. And while we wait, we hope, we wish and we pray that the surgery happens soon and it will be successful. Then we can put all this behind us and get on with the rest of our lives.

Hey Brian, Sorry to read your last two posts and find that you seem a bit down. I am sure that with you now being able to go to work & having to sit around all day is driving you crazy. I can only imagine how frustrating that would be. One thing I CAN relate to is having a root canal. I think I have more root canals than teeth! Not fun at all, but glad to hear that is behind you now. I will continue to pray as you wait for "the call". See you on Sunday!
