Preparations

We really thought we were ready.  Or at least almost ready.  Then this whole "Oops it a boy not a girl" came along.  The house was looking good.  Last week, we had an awesome friend come over and help M organize and clean out one of our spare rooms.  The nursery was set.  We had plenty of clothes.  Not so much anymore.

The nursery is still OK, it was mostly neutral colors.  Clothes on the other hand are a different story.  So this morning as I did some major landscaping, M went to about five different stores to return the very pink, very girlie clothes that filled the closet in the nursery.

Luckily be 1:00 we were floating in the pool with some friends we have not seen all summer.

We still have some work to do in the clothing area, and we are still making the mental adjustment of having a boy instead of a girl.  The bottom line is still the same though.  Within the next two weeks, we should have our baby.
