Settling In

We are settling in nicely to our new life as parents. To be perfectly honest, we have loved ever moment of it. Yes, there have been the crying spells at 2:00 AM, and plenty of diaper changes, but we have smiled all the way through.
Since getting home, we have had lots of visitors which we (and by that I mean all THREE of us) have loved. We have taken Little B on several walks in his stroller around the neighborhood and even ventured out to get a little shopping done today.
The last few days have really been amazing. Every time we look at our baby, whether he is sleeping, eating, or whining, we laugh. When he is crying at 3:00 AM, we think about al the tears that we have shed over the years, and we laugh. Even every time her burps when we are feeding him, we laugh. (I wonder how long that one will last.)
We have heard from dozens of people that once we have a baby, our lives will change. They were right. And we love it.

First Shopping Trip to Target

First lunch out of the house at Panera. He ate it all. (OK, maybe we helped a little.)

Watching his first Cubs game. They lost. He better get used to that.
