Leave It to My Wife

If everything goes as planned, and we pray it does, today is the last day of my life as I know it.  I of course mean that in a good way.  A very good way.  

My wife has a way with words.  Here is the email she sent me this morning;

Subject:  Do you realize...

that today is the last day you have that you are responsible for only yourself?  The last day you do not have someone looking up to you, counting on you to take care of their needs, and looking to you as the mentor and person they want to be? (and no, I do not count :)

It just hit me.  We are going to have a baby tomorrow.  After 5 years of heartache, our baby boy will be in our arms so soon.  Things are getting ready to change drastically.  You ready??

No pressure right?

I have to give an assist to our friend Karen who sent us an email with the subject line, last day before being mommy and daddy.

Tomorrow is a big day.  Perhaps the biggest.  Not much will happen until early to late afternoon.  If possible, I will update the blog throughout the afternoon.  So stay tuned for the latest and we will post pictures when I can.

Now it is off to my last good night of sleep for, well, a long time.
