Before I go any further, let me say this. I was diagnosed in 2000, about 4 months after I turned 21, with PSC. Having liver disease and drinking do not exactly go together. So I have not had a drink of alcohol in nine years. I think some of our friend feel like since I cannot drink, they need to drink my share.
The reliving of college days all started back during M's birthday party with keg stands and jello shoots. It continued this weekend. At a wedding Saturday night, it was our table that stormed the bar at last call and each got two drinks. About two hours later, we were the only ones left in the entire banquet hall. Even the wait staff left. Every other table was cleaned off and chairs put away. Our table was covered with empty beer bottles and very inappropriate drawings. I will leave it at that.
On Sunday, we returned to the scene of the keg stands and jello shots for what we thought was an innocent Sunday afternoon barbeque. We should have known better. Several games of Flip Cup broke out. They probably would have played more games, if not for someone jumping into the pool after every game.
Despite our sophomoric actions, we have all had a blast, and aside from a few mysterious cases of the "flu" and "food poisoning" following a day and night of drinking, no one has been seriously injured.
