Godspeed, Megan

A few months ago, I wrote about how I was jealous about the fact that my sister-in-law, along with some good friends and other members of our church, went to Haiti to help with the relief efforts. Well here we go again.

Megan, Melissa's sister is off globe trotting again. Once again she is staying away from the hotel pools, beaches and tourist traps. Instead she is headed for a location in need of the help and compassion she can offer; Kenya.

Similarly to Haiti, our church has a strong connect to Kenya. A few years ago a couple from our church moved to Kenya to build an orphanage for the 100's of kids that have had both parents die from the wide spread AIDS pandemic that has swept the country.

Megan has felt a calling in life to help those in need and our church has given her two great pathways she has been able to take advantage of. I could tell you more about Megan and what she is doing, but I will let her do that instead.

She has started her own blog that we can get to here, and I will leave a permanent link on the right side of the my blog.
