Apology

Please allow this post to serve as a preemptive, blanket apology to all people flying from Tampa to Las Vegas tomorrow afternoon on Southwest Airline.

This is our first plane trip with our son. He is not even three months old yet. He really is a good boy, but every once in a while he screams very loud for no apparent reason. As much as we would like to hope that this will not happen during the course of the flight, we know the chances of him being peaceful and serene for any five and half hour stretch of time are slim.

Please know that we will all being doing our best to make the flight as painless as possible. After all, we don't want him screaming any more than you do. Plus, we are going to Vegas. It is now like you are going straight to the hotel to go to sleep when we land.

While I am apologizing, I will give out some advise as well (free of charge). If our son happens to scream or cry at any point during the flight, DO NOT give my wife a dirty look. I am pretty sure she will come after you.

But as I said, he is normally very good, and when he is not crying and screaming, he is really cute as well (although I might be a little biased.) We are pretty sure that at some point during the flight he will sleep, and at some point he will scream. If you happen to see him while he is screaming, make sure that you see him while he is sleeping as well. He will melt your heart.

And if that doesn't work, we have a pocket full of free drink coupons to give out.

Happy flying.
