Three Rivers

Tonight on CBS, a new TV show will be premiering called Three Rivers. On the surface it might seem like just another medical drama, but it is more than that. At least it is for me.

Three Rivers will be centered around the doctors, patients and families involved in organ donation. I am personally very excited to see how the show goes about telling the story, that I know all too well, from multiple angles.

I hope that the story lines come across as accurate, but powerful. I will tune in of course for the entertainment value, which I hope it delivers on. I also hope that the show can raise an awareness of organ donation and give people who have not been effected by it personally, a glimpse into the emotionally charged and life changing process.

So tonight, after you are done watching a bunch of football players running around in pink shoes, tune into CBS at 9:00 ET, and spread the word.
