Around the World in One Afternoon

Our second year in a row at the Epcot International Food and Wine Fest was another huge success. We switched it up this year and started in Canada and worked our way around through Japan, China, Paris, Norway, Germany and others, finishing up at Mexico.

M and I got the the park ahead of the other 25 people we were with and too Little B on his first Disney ride. We settled for Figmant's Imagination ride, which he seemed to love. We also discovered the Switch Rider pass. Awesome!

Some of the highlights from the Food and Wine Fest;

  • The Braised Short Ribs and Mashed Potatoes at the Paris booth.
  • Good old fashioned American Cheeseburger
  • Everything in Mexico
  • The fireworks show at the end of the night
  • The sausage in Germany (always a hit)
  • The Sam Adams Cherry Lager (so I heard)
  • The three guys that had one beer in all 14 countries (plus a bonus), and were still standing at the end of the night.
  • Convincing a 50 year old man to get his entire has painted like a tiger.
