"It is not about you anymore."
"You are not going to be able to travel like that anymore."
"You are not going to be able to go out like you used to."
Really?
Recently I wanted to plan a trip to the Zoo on a Friday or Saturday night for the Halloween event that they put on every year. To my surprise every single Friday and Saturday night in October is already booked with an event. Every. Single. One. But that is not all.
Our booked calendars even carries over into the first two weekends in November. Of all those Friday and Saturday nights, there are three in which we are already double booked, and have to find some way of being two places in one night. Compounding to the insanity that is our life, there are some how 5 or 6 events planned on nights during the week as well.
Furthermore, we are intending on bringing Little B with us every night.
At least there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Our calendar starts to free up at the end of November. Just in time for the holidays. I'm sure life will slow down then.

We haven't slown down either. We just adjust. I bring Melia everywhere. How else is she going to learn how to behave if she is never allowed to go anywhere?
