Braydon's actual birthday is not until Thursday, but we went ahead with his birthday party today. The plan was for it to be a pool party/Barbeque. Unfortunately there was a constant dreary rain all morning long and showed no signs of stopping. It did eventually stop, but the party was already in full effect inside of the house.
Of course the highlight of any First Birthday party is the cake. Braydon loves his food and Melissa made an amazing looking cake. THe combination of those two factors made us think that he would dive right into the food and hilarity would follow. It didn't quit work out that
way.
With 30 plus people starring at him a signing, he gradually moved from confused, to scared to
terrified to the point that we was physically shaking and crying. He eventually did get a hand into the cake and get a face full of icing, which made for some good pictures.
