And now, We wait

We spent the entire day at Lifelink and Tampa General going through my final evaluations for the transplant. Meet with the doctor briefly. She really stressed how much more difficult this surgery was going to be compared to the others. She didn't really make us feel that positive about it.

We then went to meet with the Social Worker, Anesthesiologist, Dietitian and had one final blood test done.

At this point there is nothing left for us to do, but wait. Although I am not officially on the list, there is nothing more that I can do. There is a sense of helplessness at this point. I am now at the mercy of God. It is up to Him to decide when I move forward. From a medical standpoint and just looking at the numbers, it should be soon. As I have learned many times before however, God's timeline is not always the same as mine.
