Monkeys, Wine, and Pottery

Friday night, some friends hosted a little get together to celebrate my new liver and good health.  They choose to hold the party at a paint you own pottery studio called Practically Pikasso.  Despite the name, I was not magically transformed into an artist.  Fortunately, my wife already was an artist before stepping into the studio.  You can see the mug I painted above, before it went to get fired.  I painted it all by myself.  By that I mean I painted the blue base and my wife did the rest.

Tonight was about more than pottery though.  It was about friends getting together to show their support for us one more time.  I think that I have milked this liver thing for all it is worth for now.  

We are extraordinarily grateful for those who set up and organized this event, and equally grateful to everyone who came out to show their support.
