One more trip...for now

For the third weekend in a row, we are heading out of town. This time we are heading across the state to Cocoa Beach for a weekend of beach and surfing. I am anxious to test out my surfboard and hopefully get some relax time on the beach.

We have been going to Cocoa Beach for years and always stay at the same hotel. It is nothing fancy, but the atmosphere is what makes it special. Cocoa Beach has the feel of a surf town. Ron Jon Surf Shop is next door and open 24 hours and lights up like the Vegas Strip at night.

During the day, there is constant parade of surf boards walking down the side walks toward the beach. No matter the size of the waves there are always surfers lined up waiting for the next break.

Here's hoping for 5 footers...
