Changes

Things have been somewhat quiet around here lately, but that is not to say that nothing is going on. As a matter of fact there are some big changes going on around here.

Let's start with Braydon. What isn't changing? He is adding words to is vocabulary daily. To date, he says airplane, outside, ball, boat, apple sauce, banana and bird to name a few. He has moved from walking to running to climbing. Dancing and playing his guitar seem to be his new favorite activities.

As far as Melissa goes, ever since Christmas, she has turned into a rival of Rachael Ray. Everyday I come home to a different meal that is out of this world delicious and as a bonus, it is actually healthy too. Everyone is enjoying this one.

Then there is me. My change is perhaps the most unexpected. In the past several weeks, I dare say, that I am turning into a runner. I have been running for a while for the purpose of training for my next adventure race, and somewhere along the line, I actually began enjoying it.

There are many sayings and quotes about change out there. One of my favorites has always been "Change is not necessarily good or bad, it is just different." In these cases, I will have to disagree. They all look good to me.
